GENERAL INFORMATION

IMPORTANT       
Your sub-floor has to be perfectly leveled.
TRANSPORT  

These prices include the basic kit and the interior finish kit, and truck transport to the
following states- ME, VT, NH, MA, NY, CT, PA, NJ, DE, MD, MI, WI, MN, IL, IN, OH, KY, VA,
NC. Also included is all customs and broker fees etc.  N.B. Transport for GARAGES,
ADDITIONS and SOLARIUMS is not included and estimated on request.
UNLOADING
The customer will provide two men to help our driver unload materials on the construction site
DELIVERY
There is a Minimum delay of eight (8) weeks or more, depending on the production schedule.
N.B. It is recommended that you order your kit as soon as possible to reserve your delivery
date, in that  during certain periods of the year delays can be of up to twelve (12) weeks.
PAYMENT
15% Deposit at signature of contract
15% Additional deposit at fabrication, forty-five (45) days before delivery
70% Balance payable before departure of materials from factory
CURRENCY
Prices are in Canadian or United States Dollars depending on the Country shipped to.

BASIC KIT SHELL    

1. LOG WALLS -
6¼” X 12”  (Patriot) white pine logs, planed and factory precut (or other dimensions and     techniques as shown in the price list) - starter flashing  wood and metal keys for doors and windows -  lag-screws - 3/8” x 10” or 12”- sealant tape and urethane caulking for imperviousness.
2. HEADER BEAMS
B.C. hemlock false beams and structural beams of various dimensions depending on span,   planed on four sides (according to plan).
3. PARTITION KEYS
Wood and metal key for each partition resting on a log wall.
5. PLANS
Standard architectural plans & personalized plans on request.
6. ROOF STRUCTURE
Precut roof trusses OR visible beams structure (models marked with an asterisk): 3”x 8” Eastern hemlock beams - 1 “x 8” pine boards - 2”x 8” spruce joists (according to plan).
7. DORMERS  
Precut dormers (according to plan).
8. GABLE FRAMES
2” x 6” spruce at 24” c/c - ten-test -air barrier - 1” x 6” spruce strapping at 16” c/c.
9. GALLERY CEILING
1” x 8” pine, tongue and groove “V' joint. Fascia 1”  x 6” pine or other dimensions as per plan
10. GABLE & DORMER FINISH
l” x 8” pine, tongue and groove “V' joint.
11. VENTILATION
Grille in 8'- 0” sections -  pine vents for gables.
12. WINDOWS
First and second floors: Pine casement thermos windows with double imperviousness, cross mullions and mosquito screen included (Quantity according to plan).
13. DOORS (exterior)
2 ¼” pine door(s), adjusted in frame, with hinges and knobs. Patio door (6'-0”): Pine sliding patio door or garden door with mosquito screen and key lock (according to plan).
14. TRIMS (exterior)  
1” x 4” and 1” x 6” pine trims for doors and windows.
15. HANDRAILS (exterior)
5”x 5” columns and pine posts of Swiss or vertical style according to choice.
16. GALLERY BOARDING
2”x 6” spruce (according to plan).
17. ROOF COVERING
Asphalt shingles (20 years) - ¼” plywood - starter flashing - shingle nails OR pre-painted steel (gauge 30)-1” x 6” spruce furring - ridge cap -  flashing (s) -  foam closure strips -screws.
18. STORY FLOOR    
2”x 6” tongue and groove “V' joint kiln-dried pine.
19. STAIRCASE (interior)     
Precut and sanded pine staircase (steps. Risers and stringboards).
20. PARTITIONS  
Ground floor only: 2”x 4” spruce (quantity according to plan).
21. POLY VENT PROFILE
Polystyrene profile allowing an excellent ventilation between trusses in roof slope.
INTERIOR FINISH KIT  

22. STORY FLOOR COVERING  
2nd row: l” x 6” tongue and groove kiln-dried pine, gray paper, furring 1” x 4” at 12” c/c interior ten-test (according to plan).
23. HANDRAILS (interior)
Colonial style pine handrails for stairs and second floor (according to plan).
24. MASSIVE PINE TRIMS (interior)
Frames with socles around exterior and interior doors - frames around windows - special molding on top of partitions (ground floor only) - baseboards for bottom of interior partitions. N.B. Trims are included for ground and first floors only.
